How to fill in the application to participate in state grant contest?
1. Before applying, select your favorite educational program at Satbayev University, corresponding to the relevant subjects in which you passed UNT.
2. Write down for yourself the code (column “Groups of educational programs” in the table) of the group of educational programs that includes the program you have chosen.
3. Indicate the group code and code of Satbayev University (Kazakh National Research Technical University named after K.I. Satpayev) in the application for a grant: 029.
Training of engineers in the field of ground electric transport, such as trams, trolleybuses, electric scooters and electric vehicles, as well as charging infrastructure for the new land transport industry. Since the transition to electric transport is an important trend in the development of transport around the world, graduates of the given innovative program are in great demand.
Program has increased the volume of mathematical disciplines and added two possible learning paths, which include disciplines on electric transport and charging infrastructure on the one hand and disciplines on renewable energy on the other.
Students study Electric Vehicles and electro-special technics, Chargers, Electric transport power engineering, Fundamentals of technical diagnostics of electric vehicles, Unmanned control in electric transport, charging infrastructure for electric transport, as well as hybrid energy complexes with various types of charging stations.
Students learn to design and maintain modern electric vehicles, calculate and design electric transport charging infrastructure systems, perform calculations on electricity costs and work in programs necessary for managing and evaluating the energy systems.
Program provides for practice at such enterprises as "PoliTechElectronics", "Operator of EFS", "Metro", "Almatyelectrotrans", "Jet Sharing" and others.
Graduates work in companies for manufacturing the ground electric transport, in production workshops and engineering departments, transport companies for operating the electric buses and electric cars, service centers for operation and repair of personal mobility equipment, as well as in production laboratories for energy and environmental expertise.
